There used to be an art site named DeviantArt that rubbed the Internet the wrong way but given time, people would see it's welcoming atmosphere, fall in love with its organization system for separating pictures, its option to choose between pages and infinite scroll so you don't lose track of certain pictures or have to wait for pictures you're scrolling past to load. Before the site shut down, I found people that I could actually consider my friends and we would write journals to each other and actually a every word we typed. At the time we promised that we would stay together and never go to another art site. But one day the site that I loved was gone; I kept typing in DeviantArt any way I could but instead got an unwelcoming, black monolith.
